Will my switchboard handle an EV charger?

Often yes, sometimes no. Older boards with ceramic fuses and no safety switches usually need an upgrade first. Send us a photo of your board and we'll tell you before we quote, not after we've started.

How long does an EV charger install take?

Most are a half-day job if the switchboard is in good shape and the cable run is straightforward. A long run through a roof cavity, or a board upgrade at the same time, can make it a full day.

Do you charge for quotes?

No. Quotes are free, and the price we give you is the price you pay unless we find something genuinely unexpected, in which case we stop and ring you first.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Electrical Licence 151591, Electrical Contractor Licence 88370 and QBCC Licence 1523961. All on the bottom of this page, and we're happy for you to check them.

Do you do landlord smoke alarm compliance?

Yes. Queensland rules require interconnected photoelectric alarms in all rental properties. We install, test and issue the paperwork your agent needs.
